As a nationwide payroll service provider, data security is our first priority. We dedicate ourselves to ensuring that your information is kept confidential, but it is also at your fingertips when you need it. We achieve this goal in a multitude of ways; our staff is trained to follow clear security policies and procedures, we implement technological security safeguards, perform constant system monitoring and have planned disaster recovery measures. We have taken the time to put policies and procedures in place and have insured they are being followed by completing our 2016 SOC 1 – SSAE 16 Type II Audit. Security is an intertwined discipline that involves company policy as well as systems and software security. Each and every PayServ employee is certified in our policies and procedures. Our current protocol PayServ Security Policy meets or exceeds most state privacy standards. Our customers rest assured in the knowledge that their information does not permeate the walls of security we've created.
We are constantly updating and improving our physical, network and software security. PayServ uses secure payroll servers protected by industry recognized safeguards. Our servers are firewall protected and password protected with encrypted communication. We have implemented automated 24/7 monitoring as well as 24/7 intrusion prevention. Physical security is maintained by key pad secured data rooms. Uninterrupted power supplies and backup generators provide protection from damage or downtime caused by power outages.
Redundancy ensures constant service and means that all of the information PayServ needs to operate is duplicated continuously to another processing center. Our Angola, IN data center is mirrored to Sarasota, FL and vice versa. Because both locations are staffed processing centers, should a catastrophic event interrupt our ability to serve our customers in one location, PayServ can continue serving the needs of our customers from our second location.
