The Challenge

With three locations and employees in ve states, Uckele was experiencing the bene ts of thrive Payroll, but a disconnect between Payroll and another vendor’s Time and Attendance solution. Plus, they weren’t using an HR solution to bring together all of their data in one place. Paper processes and entering data multiple times in multiple places was cumbersome and costly.

Biometric ngerprint technology has replaced antiquated paper timesheets and made life for HR more e cient and accurate. Employees go online for time o requests, which has reduced scheduling errors. Plus, since everything is contained in one system, the process of uploading Time into Payroll and waiting is no more. “We have had a tremendous reduction in the amount of time we are dedicating to Payroll,” said Randy McEl sh, HR Manager. “We’re able to connect more with our employees and focus on being more strategic.”

Uckele has a number of temporary employees during peak seasons. They get paid through a temporary agency, but their hours need to be calculated through Uckele. With Workforcethrive, Uckele has the ability to keep everyone in one Time and Attendance system, without adding temps to its Payroll.
